The Story Behind WTRMELON
I made shirts for myself. I wore them in the streets because I needed people to see. Strangers stopped me. They asked questions. They wanted one. Again and again, until I understood that what I was feeling was not mine alone. WTRMELON was not launched. It grew — from a personal act of refusing to look away, into something that now reaches families in Gaza directly. We wear this so the world cannot forget what is still happening.

Why WTRMELON?
I was not a fashion designer. I was not an entrepreneur looking for a gap in the market. I was someone who could not stop watching what was happening in Palestine and felt completely useless.
So I made something. Shirts with designs I had been carrying in my head for months. Visuals that said what I could not always say in conversation. I wore them walking through the city, going about my days, being present in public with something on my chest that refused to be quiet.
People stopped me. Strangers. Repeatedly. They asked what it was, where they could get one, what it meant. They already knew what it meant. That was the point.
It kept happening. Again and again, until I understood that the feeling I was carrying was not mine alone. People were looking for exactly this and did not know where to find it.
That is when WTRMELON became a brand. Not out of ambition, but out of necessity. If this many people in the street were stopping me, then there were thousands more who needed something to hold onto. Something to wear that told the world they had not forgotten.
WTRMELON is built on one belief: that memory is resistance. The Palestinian people have carried seventy years of displacement, erasure and silence forced on them by the most powerful institutions in the world. What we can do, from where we stand, is refuse to participate in that silence.
Every design we produce is deliberate. Every graphic, every word, every name we put on a shirt was chosen because it carries historical and human truth. Nothing here is decoration. Nothing is trend. This is documentation you can wear.
A portion of every sale goes directly to verified organizations providing food, medicine and shelter to families in Gaza. Over €18,000 raised since we started. We publish every figure.
We are not a charity with a clothing line attached. We are a brand built on conscience, and the donations are the proof that conscience has consequences.
If you found this page, you already know why WTRMELON exists. You feel it. Wear it. Because visibility is one of the few things we can offer from the outside, and it matters more than most people admit.
Palestine, until free.
