Look closely. A coin from 1927. A page from Falastin, the newspaper founded in 1911. An Arabic book. Each fragment holds a trace of Palestinian life that existed long before this moment.
The Dome of the Rock rises among them, alongside the map and the keffiyeh. Then the image shifts: a destroyed place in Gaza interrupts the familiar. History and loss meet in a collage whose edges seem to melt, as though memory itself is struggling to hold its shape.
Yet the words at its heart remain clear: “We were here before the borders, and we will remain after them.”
Roots of Forever carries those fragments forward. So that what was lived, built and loved continues to be seen.
